The British Walkers: News Flash! The Netflix Series "Running Point" Features a Remix of "I Found You", the Debut Single by The British Walkers!

We are pleased to announce that a reconstructed Remix of The British Walkers' debut single "I Found You" can be heard in the Pilot Episode of the Netflix series "Running Point", starring Kate Hudson. The new Remix by Format Music Solutions incorporates elements of the original single and is entitled "You Are My Love (I Found You)" by The Math Club x Kansoma Music ft. Redwood.

Also available for licence is the original version of "I Found You" from 1964, which has been remastered by Format Repress, a one-stop catalog of vintage rarities spanning classic genres and eras. Format Repress is a division of Format Music Solutions.

Flash! A "new" track by The British Walkers has just been found! It was included in the Bobbie Howard collection on Turkey Mountain Records. The track is titled "Oh I Apologize" and features Roy Buchanan on lead guitar. It was recorded during the band's first recording sessions.

The Bobbie Howard anthology, titled "Bobbie Howard - The Kid", contains music made during all eras of Bobbie's career: his Link Wray collaborations; The British Walkers days; solo material and the Northern Soul cult classic "Broken Heart Attack", made by Bobbie's band The Sweet!

The British Walkers 2010: Bobbie Howard (often spelled Bobby Howard) - Lead Vocals, Harmonica, Guitar; Steve Lacey - Drums; Billy Hancock - Bass, Vocals; and Dave "Gabby" Gabaldon - Lead Guitar, Vocals.

The original members of The British Walkers were: Bobbie Howard - Lead Vocals, Guitar; Roy Buchanan - Lead Guitar; Junior Gill - Bass; and Mike Kennedy - Drums.

Except for Bobbie Howard, membership in The British Walkers was a revolving door. Members included: Geoff Richardson - Lead Guitar; Paul Downing - Lead Guitar; John Hall - Guitar, Vocals; Ted Speleos - Lead Guitar; Jimmy Carter - Lead Guitar; Billy Windsor - Bass; Ronnie Welborne - Bass; Jack Brooks - Bass; Ray Lassiter - Drums; Gary Kingery - Drums; Steve Lacey - Drums; James Dyer - Drums; and Mike Zack - Drums. Jack Brooks and Steve Lacey ended up being with the band the longest and were there until the end of The British Walkers recording career.

Vocalists Tom and Charlie Willett were never actually members of The British Walkers, but their soulful lead and backing vocals can be found all over The British Walkers' swan song single "Shake". Charlie sang lead on the single, while Tom and members of The Chartbusters sang the energetic backing vocals. Tom and Charlie had been in the local D.C. band The Newports and their vocals were substituted for Bobbie Howard's when Bobbie quit the band in a dispute with management.
